If any of you have watched the Truth Chronicles you'll know who and what I'm talking about. I don't know if that's exactly how it's worded but that's pretty close. I was coming home from dance tonight and this song came on the radio. I had listened to it a couple times before but I really stopped and listened this time. It's amazing how many things in it are so true right now from our family and for a lot of families out there. It's kinda funny but it sheds some light on things that I didn't think about very much. Shoulda known it was country. I heard the music intro and then *skid stop* country accented dude singing. Threw me for a loop really. I'm so used to . . . well, not country accented dudes singing. :D Just southern. ;)
ReplyDeleteAnyway, this song is good in that it pulls people back to reality, the real reality. It's funny and sad how many people believe/live off of what they do see on TV. Including me on somethings.
When I went to jury duty for my first time, the lawyers kept emphasizing how this was not those CSI tv shows. I was amused. :P
