Sorry it's been so long y'all, thought I posted about this earlier but obviously I didn't. So we just finished with Carnival of the Animals at the Lyceum Theater and today is my last day of a nice week off. So in essence I have one more glorious day of no Nutcracker music, then I have to hear it all the way until Christmas. I was a frog in Carnival and it was a lot of fun, though it was a quad killer. Everyone said I looked like I was 7 because we frogs had our hair in pigtails on the sides of our head and I curled mine, so I had Shirley Temple pigtails. And we wore these HUGE sunglasses to make us look more like frogs, I guess, and the lens on the glasses were green, so we had to wear them in the wings for a bit to get used to them before we went on stage. So now it's going to be focus focus focus on Nutcracker!!! ;)
